SK Pendok SAL Room
We have been busy here in SK Pendok decorating the SAL Room. All have contributed including the security guards, students from Jeli University, teachers, pupils and myself. The room is not quite finished yet but I thought you may like to see how it has progressed.

What time is dinner ready?
Getting ready for parents' evening. The whole village of Pendok came to the event and I was given the opportunity to address all the parents on how to help their child study English even if they could not speak the language themselves.

TELL 2 - 2014
Hi. My names Alex Cousins, and I am from England. I have been teaching English for over 10 years, and have been in Malaysia for 3 of them. I work in the Tanah Merah / Jeli Cluster with Dan Kryskalla & Ian Patterson, and I help with the schools SK Bendang Nyior, SK Bechah Laut, SK Alor Pasir & SK Kemahang 2 & 3
It is my hope to show teachers that lessons can be fun, active and more effective, with just a little extra planning and a few tips and secrets! So far in 2014, I have been very impressed with how welcoming and how responsive the teachers have been toward the TELL Mentors, and I hope to repay their kindness by helping them help their pupils to achieve bigger and greater things
Helping out with Year 6 Exam classes
SK Sri Suria 2 Fun Run ! ( I came 3rd, but I didn't get a prize...)
... and have a read of this story one of my Year 4 pupils wrote ... magic!
The lion, the bear & the fox
One day, a lion was hunting for food. A bear was also looking for food
at the same time.
Suddenly, both animals came upon a dead
goat. They looked at each other.
‘It is mine!’ roared the lion. ‘I found
it first!’
‘That is not true,’ growled the bear. ‘I
found it first!’
‘I will fight you for it.’ said the
lion. ‘The winner gets the goat.
The bear agreed and they started
fighting.
The fox sees the lion and the bear fighting. The fox takes the goat
and he runs away. The fox is the winner!
The End.
